Sarah Saldana was crowned Miss Alamogordo's Outstanding Teen

Sarah Saldana, center, receives her Miss Alamogordo's Outstanding Teen Crown from Allexandra Brady and Sarah Richardson during Saturday night's Sertoma Scholarship Pageant at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts.

Saldana is the first recipient of the title and will compete for the Miss New Mexico's Outstanding Teen crown next year. Adrienne Jaramillo was the teen pageant's first runner-up.

Sarina Turnbull and Stacey Ware were also crowned as Miss Alamogordo and Miss Otero County, respectively, replacing 2009 titleholders Brady and Richardson. With their wins, Turnbull and Ware will now compete in next year's Miss New Mexico Pageant with a chance to compete at Miss America in Las Vegas, Nev.

Courtney Messer was Miss Alamogordo/Miss Otero County's first runner-up, while Shawnee Hoyt finished as the second runner-up.
