22-year old beauty from Venezuela, Ivian Sarcos won the 6th Miss World crown for her country. First runner-up was Gwendoline Ruais from the Philippines. Second runner-up was Amanda Vilanova of Puerto Rico.

The event hosted by Angela Chow and Jason Cook was participated by 113 delegates from across the globe.
The judges included former Miss World winners - Cindy Breakspeare (1976), Nigeria Agbani Darego (2001), Zhang Zilin (2007) and Kaiane Aldorino (2009).
Miss World 2010 from United States Alexandria Mills crowned the new winner.
Miss World 2012 pageant will be held in the city of Ordos, Inner Mongolia Province, in the People's Republic of China in July.
