Laura Kaeppeler was crowned Miss America 2012 on Saturday night, January 14, 2012 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kaeppeler is 23 year old. She won Miss Nebraska at the age of 17, Miss Wisconsin 2011, and Miss Southern Wisconsin 2011.
