Due to the date change of the Miss World 2012 pageant, the Miss World Brazil Organization has made the decision to choose the Miss World Brazil 2012 among candidates who participated in the national pageant in the years 2009, 2010, and 2011. The winner of Miss World Brazil 2012 will represent Brazil to compete in Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.
The Miss World Brazil pageant, with participants from all states and some islands, will be held on September 22 at the Portobello Resort, and the winner will compete in Miss World 2013 paageant.
